Happy holidays of whatever size, shape or color rocks your socks off!
Why Wintertidings? Well, many years ago when I wasn't much shorter, (as I never got anywhere near tall), I had a good friend who was pagan. I had other good friends who weren't Jewish or religious or whatever. My friends in real life are still all over the map. So my friends and I decided to wish each other a winter holiday of choice and give a winter-type gift. 'Cause keeping track of who kept what, and why, and which, was a bit frustrating, but Wintertidings meant that: hey, I know you're celebrating something, and you know I'm celebrating something, so let's all get together and drink hot cocoa and eat tasty things that may or may not be very good for us and watch movies and let the world go round for a bit.
So, wondrous Wintertidings to all.
In other news? Still not dead.
Why wasn't this blog updated?
I had no life this past autumn. If I didn't have time for Real Life friends, some of whom I've known since kindergarten, then I didn't have time for you guys.
You guys are important, but I haven't known you nearly as long. And I do have some posts from this past span of time that I think are interesting. I'm back!

What was the excuse for gifts given to atheists?
ReplyDeleteWho needs an excuse for gifts? :D
DeleteThey'd be happy? They're enjoying New Years? Everyone likes cookies?
DeleteMy presents tend to be homemade cookies. :)
You give out homemade cookies!?! Can I be your friend? :P
DeleteWhat if they were Chinese Atheists? And it was five weeks too early...
DeleteFrumGeek: Lol, sure! Just be aware the the crop of cookies was very poor this year: too much stress to bake. Be my friend next year? ;)
DeleteWondering Minds: Ooops?
You're back! Hooray!
